Solar Cell as power solution

All we know that Sun is great source of energy. But it is very difficult to use sun’s enormous power efficiently. Efficiency is the one of biggest obstruction in progress of Solar Cell technology. And sometimes it’s low efficiency deterring people from using it. Another problem high cost of installation of solar cell, such as Battery, Place to estrange. The very fundamental operation of solar cell is that solar cell absorbed light energy and convert this energy to electrical energy. Photovoltaic or PV used in solar cell. 

At this time we are in third generation of solar cell. First generation’s solar cell has high cost and less efficiency. However it is good news that solar cell’s efficiency is increasing day by day. As 2007, The University of Delaware achieves a 42.8% efficiency solar cell technology. And continuous research is going on how to increase efficiency and the reduction of cost. Scientists are contemplating that solar power can be a one of the good option for future power. Recently, Coppin State University in Baltimore, achieved most efficient solar cell yet, it is 43.4 percent. 

Now more than 100 countries of the world is generating electricity from solar cell. The largest solar cell or Photovoltaic or PV plant is in Canada and assuming that it will generate 97 MW.
