বইয়ের প্রতি আমার Affection ছোটবেলা থেকেই,কিন্তু সেই সময়ে এখনকার মত, মন চাইলেই, এত সহজে বই পাওয়া যেত না, বই মেলা ছাড়া মনে হয় পাওয়াই যেত না। অনেক ইচ্ছা থাকার পরেও তেমন বই পড়া হয়ে উঠত না। তখন মনে হয় ১৯৯৭/৯৮ সাল ফেব্রুয়ারি মাস,বই মেলা চলছে। বাসা থেকে টাকা নিয়েছিলাম বই কেনার জন্য। কয়েকজন ফেন্ড্র মিলে ঠিক করা হল বাংলা একাডেমীর বই মেলায় যাব, আসলে আমার চাপেই, অন্যদের বই নিয়ে এত মাতামাতি নেই। তখন তো মোবাইল ছিল না, (GP মাত্র লঞ্চ করছে) TNT তে কথা বলে রদেভু ঠিক করা হত। এবং বাসা থেকে বের হওয়ার আগে আবার কনফার্ম করা হত যে “বের হইছি”, “তোরা বের হও”। সো এই ভাবে ল্যান্ড ফোনে রদেভু ঠিক করাটা সব সময় efficient ছিল না। প্রায়ই successful হত না। কেউ আসত, কেউ আসত না। কেউ কেউ আবার প্রাংক করে, গ্রুপের একজনকে ওয়েট করিয়ে রাখত। ধরেন ৪ জন মিলে ঠিক করল রদেভু পয়েন্ট মহাখালী ওয়ারলেস গেইট। কিন্তু বাকি ৩ জন conspiracy করে ঠিক করল যে প্লান বাতিল। They will not come, in addition they will not also inform the fourth one and keep awaited him in the rendezvous point. ওইদিন TNT ফোনে রদেভু ঠিক করে সবার এক জ...
